Local HTTP Endpoint

Hi There, 

For home users, can you provide a way to scrape metrics from a local HTTP endpoint without needing the local server / developer implementation? This is for small home automations in which a user might use prometheus to scrape metrics and doesn't rely on the cloud platform.
