Certified calibration certificates
AnsweredMany regulated industries can only use laboratory certified temperature monitoring devices. Typically, certification is required, per device, on an annual basis across 3 temperature readings eg -10, 0, 10 degrees centigrade for refrigeration monitoring and 0, 10, 30 degrees centigrade for non refrigerated monitoring. Formally calibrated devices would need to come with a dated certificate from an (any!) international body eg NIST - National Institute of Standards and Technology. The option to purchase WS1 & WS1 Pro devices with formal certification would open considerable industrial opportunities. It would also increase sales as it would still be cost effective to replace devices annually at the end of their certification period,

Any updates on this question? I was asked by our state to send a re-certification on our Pro-Temp device.
Thank you!
Alfredo.
