POE for GS1 with Ethernet GS1-AETH1RS
CompletedModel GS1-AETH1RS bring an ethernet connection to the GS1 series allowing constant monitoring of the device. With constant monitoring brings increased power requirements and much reduced battery life.
A major improvement in this device would be the inclusion of power of ethernet (POE) to power the device.
In my opinion, expecting customers in an industrial environment, to monitor and replace batteries is unrealistic.

Hi there
Our development team has tried a version of integrating the POE to the device, it has caused the internal temperature rising dramatically, thus making the temperature sensing inaccurate. We suggest to use an external POE splitter if POE power supply is needed.

I agree with willsmyth00, expecting an industrial customer to use a usb power supply is very unrealistic, please work harder on a POE solution. or a proper power termination.

Hi there,
I understand your concerns.
We will push the manufacturer to hasten the process.
Once the splitter is available, you can find them on our store: store.ubibot.io

Sorry but you miss understand, a POE splitter is not really an industrial solution.
