IFTTT applet call streamlining
AnsweredSo I have a couple of queries.
Could the sensor data call contain multiple rows in an array, instead of one row per sync period, thus calling far fewer applets. When the unit syncs after a period of no wifi access, it makes many calls to IFTTT to resync and trips out IFTTT with 'Maximum usage exceeded'. Is this throttled per minute? Hour? Day?
Secondly, why does the 'WiFi reception get a call of it's own, unconfigurable. It adds erroneous lines to the log, and sometimes is added before, sometimes after the data I want to collect in a google spreadsheet. Why can it not be included in the sensor call so it's just one call, all on one row. Also, could you add Batt voltage while you're there. Why not? Sorting out the wifi row would halve the number of calls and would improve consistency of logging reports.
Otherwise, solid and accurate bits of kit, very pleased.

Hi there
Thanks for your suggest.
What is the sampling rate of the each sensor you have configured and what is the sync interval? Have you contact IFTTT support in regards to the reason of "Maximum usage exceeded"?
We plan to add more data exporting related services to our PC tools, as we do not have enough options on the configurations with 3rd party platforms such as IFTTT.

I also have this issue!
Why is WiFi reporting frequency not editable? Also, why can I not turn it off?
Modifying the sensor frequency VS. the reporting frequency I can get mostly all sensors on a single row, but the WiFi signal always comes last and has it's own row. Thus setting all my previous variables to null.
